Utility Regulator consults on the NI Energy Efficiency Levy Strategic and Operational Review 2008

The Utility Regulator today announced the launch of a public consultation on the ‘NI Energy Efficiency Levy Strategic and Operational Review 2008’.
The Utility Regulator has appointed Skyplex Consulting Limited (“Skyplex”), as external consultants, to undertake a strategic and operational review of the NI Energy Efficiency Levy Programme (EELP). As the first stage in this review, Skyplex has presented the Utility Regulator with a report containing discussion of the key issues and their proposals for reform. It is this report, which forms the basis for this Utility Regulator consultation.
The Utility Regulator welcomes views from all interested partied on the Skyplex report and any other aspects of the EELP.
This consultation encompasses a Utility Regulator cover consultation paper (download here) along with the Skyplex report attached as Annex I (download here).
